About

Peter Evans has been leaving his finger in front of the lens and the lens cap on intermittently for the best part of 40 years. After a somewhat blurred and under-exposed start with a Kodak Instamatic, he progressed into a field of grain with a Kodak Disc camera and became a specialist at cutting off heads with an Olympus 35mm compact. Photography remained a minor distraction until the arrival of small children necessitated a better quality of excuse to escape the house.

From 2003 to 2011 the family were based in SE Asia where underwater macro photography became a passion. During this period Peter had images published in The Bangkok Post newspaper, Scuba Diver AustralAsia magazine and in DiveGuide Thailand.

Peter recently moved to Kent with his long-suffering wife and three hyperactive nippers.
